Today we released a major update to our image serving technology just in time for me to upload my pictures from this year’s SXSW Interactive Conference in Austin, Texas. Without getting into the details just yet, the basics of the update are that images are now processed and presented to the user in real-time which should speed up the users experience and make it more reliable as well.

As usual, this update is laying more of the foundation for future updates – go ahead and just upload some images to your account to give our image gallery system a try and keep looking out for new features coming very soon!

Also, if you haven’t already tried out our new software, MediaFire Express, now would be a great time to give it a shot, and easily move all those folders of images you have on your computer into the cloud. MediaFire express makes it super easy to upload files and folders, just right-click on them and choose “Upload to MediaFire” and all those images sitting on your hard-drive will be on their way to your private account on MediaFire’s secure and accessible cloud.
