Thanks for the feedback!
The day after launching an update as big as this one is always a flurry of bug fixes, close monitoring and very little sleep for the entire team. I’m relieved to say that there have only been a few small glitches to fix and otherwise this launch has gone really smoothly.
There were a couple of bugs that surfaced within the first few hours of launch that have since been addressed. The first issue we were notified of was related to how the old site handled caching of pages and resulted in some users not being able to log in to their accounts or access their new My Files page. Fortunately, this could simply be resolved by forcing your browser to do a full refresh of the page. We’ve since updated the way in which the new site handles caching and it should no longer be an issue.
The one other bug that reared its head during the launch was related to the new Account page not saving your user information correctly. While this doesn’t have any real effect on the performance of the site, it was no doubt a nuisance to anyone trying to change their email address, display name or password. That’s fixed too.
Other than that, the launch went wonderfully and we’re extremely grateful for all the positive feedback you’ve already sent us. In the first day you’ve already given us some great ideas for how to further improve the new site including a couple small feature requests which we’re going to try to implement immediately. We’re going to be making a few small adjustments to the site over the next few days and then start on some more new features so let us know what you want to see next and we’ll get working on it!
Thanks again for all your continued feedback and support,
-Tom

Nice new version and bug fixes, Sounds like its coming along good.

Yes It’s looking great and I love that I can store everything so easily!! But the purpose of this is damaged by the fact that I can’t upload files over 100mb. I’d love to store everything here and would willingly pay for to be able to upload bigger files. A fee for uploading a limited number of files per month would be wonderful!!
But Yeah, looking good!!! Even with my complaints it’s still the best thing around!!

MediaFire is the absolute best. I’ve tried other filesharing websites and will be using MF exclusively from now on. Keep up the great work!

Hello, I’m new here. I found this service one week ago. I really think it’s great, but I would like to tell something. The matter is I think the limit of 100MB per file is not enough, if it is 200MB, for example or bigger than 100MB this would the best server in the world. Actually, this is the best one, but even better.
Thanks for all.

Mediafire is the best ! Keep it up !

Conratulations to the MediaFire team,
MediaFire has been constantly evolving since its launch. I now can see some of the great features into my account. I really appreciate those.
But I would like some more functionalities like by default all my files are public and to make them private I have to individually click on each “make it private” tab. It is convenient but it takes a lot of work if I have to hide many of my files from public.
I long to see these features added to MediaFire.
Just my opinion!

Hey guys, you have done a very good work. This site is better than megaupload, zshare, file2upload and other sites… The velocity is much better than a lot of other servers, the file size is good, but it could be better, anyway 100mb is like rapidshare and its good. And i thing that there is no download limit, this is the best feature. Keep it up, i think that your popularity is growing. if you need something, contact me.
Greetings from spain, Bye.

Mediafire is currently the best, and is a polished looking site also. Its beautiful, and the biggest highlight is that everything is unlimited except filesize. Thats in itself is amazing, lets keep it that way.
June 5th, 2007 at 8:24 pm
Great service!
way better than megaupload or rapidshare
keep it up guys!
June 5th, 2007 at 10:14 pm
I Love MediaFire, I only have 3 suggestions.
Increase filesize limit if possible maybe to 250mb?
Can you allow more file formats such as .rm and .rmvb
Can you allow to upload from URL, like an Http upload
June 5th, 2007 at 10:15 pm
Better than other file host sites
June 6th, 2007 at 7:34 am
Great service!!! thanx from Portugal
June 6th, 2007 at 11:43 am
Mediafire is best then all other file hosting site.
Thanks Mediafire!
June 6th, 2007 at 2:57 pm
Well yeah i love the updates…
Here are some more recommendations :
You should make a directory of all the public files uploaded here so we can download them….
And also you should let others earn something from there downloads….I am not talking abt money here….But some points through which they can buy your Products like Special Media Fire T-Shirts, some gifts…These kinds of things…
If this happens i would also like to upload many files which could have couple of thousands download per file…

guys your service is the best. the interface is very cute. thank you very much
June 6th, 2007 at 9:49 pm
great improvement, thanks.
hope u can add one more feature, which allow password protected file to be uploaded
June 7th, 2007 at 1:39 pm
I love this site, I suggest all my friends to use this as their uploading and downloading tools.
It’d be great if you allow us to search for files that are already uploaded and public, so we don’t have to upload the same files over again. ^_^
June 7th, 2007 at 4:54 pm
this is the neatest file sharing website ever. great layout and very informative upload box. I’d like to see an option to attach files up to 200-500mb at a charge.
June 9th, 2007 at 2:56 am
Awesome site , keep up the good work.
June 9th, 2007 at 7:34 am
I like your free service!
I hope that you can have a program that can resume the uploads like the Google Video Uploader or an FTP service. The larger uploads keep breaking up and I have to start from the beginning and waste your bandwidth.
June 10th, 2007 at 10:57 pm
I can’t wait until you make a ‘pay per >100MB’ file service.
I want to give you money!! (and upload stuff >100MB)
June 11th, 2007 at 12:13 pm
Great service..been using you since the beginning.
Great upgrades !….now how about an upload tool…or drive integration..now that would awesome.
June 12th, 2007 at 3:29 pm
Super Service and Super Site!!!
Topper, my horse, and I really love this place!!!
Keep up the good work.
